So, Firstly let me introduce myself.
My name is Paige and I am the founder of Pearl Beauty.
💖 October 2018. The start of forever.
This was when I started my little business. Shortly after I finished my degree in Nursing. And not long after sadly losing my mother. I knew I wanted to be more in life, but I never knew this was where it was going to be. Just me, my spare room, a beauty bed and a mini ring light. Hours on end. Client after client. Super cheap prices. Mistakes. Doubts.
Many questions, am I good enough? Will people come back to me? Will I be able to sustain this alongside a full time job? Will I gain a regular clientele? Am I doing everything properly? What if this fails? Are people going to find coming to my home unprofessional?
Honestly, it was never ending! But I didn’t let all of that stop me, it was difficult on some days but I pushed through! Then fast forward 7 years, and here we are today! Pearl Beauty salon & training academy! Wow! Pinch me moment! - I can’t believe my little business became such a success that it is now my only job, I haven’t had to request annual leave in 5 years, still working from home, only now I have built a clinic here, still lots of questions, but to me as a tutor! I am so grateful for each and every client, student and friend that has walked through the door at Pearl Beauty. Without you all we wouldn’t be here today. I look forward to meeting the rest of you, in the future. ✨

Hi guys, my names Nerissa and I’m the SPMU artist at Pearl Beauty .. so growing up it was just me my mom and my brothers, my dad has never been around so as you can imagine it was tough growing up especially for my mom.
But she helped me become the independent woman I am today. Yes life can be hard when doing everything by yourself but it’s rewarding at the same time!
I work 3 jobs, i do my Monday-Friday admin job then I work with Paige doing brows after work which started from us brainstorming in her kitchen about her small little business picking up and I offered to help to relieve some stress, she got me trained up and here we are 5 years later! So as you can imagine some days in the week are early starts and late finishes! Then some weekends I do bar work.
So I do live a pretty hectic and busy life as I try to get my fitness in at the gym inbetween all this also.
Some of my clients will say to me ‘are you not tired, working so late’ the answer is yes lol but I will never be tired of producing the amazing brows on my gorgeous clients no matter what the time is!
I feel I have come a long way since I very first started brows, I mastered the wax and tints and brow lams then moved onto LVL’s too as I do love a lami and LVL combo!
After this came the semi perm which is what I am most proud of about myself! I have to thank Paige for this as she pushed me to do it and also helped a lot with the funding of it and helped me believe I CAN do it! This wasn’t an easy technique to learn and master, yes I still have more to learn and master everyday but I am confident this will all come in time
My work ethic will always be high up there as all I want to do is be the best I can be for myself and for my beautiful clients! 🩷
